2026 | A solid debut for Eric Ionescu at Serres

Wizard Racing took part in the opening round of the 2026 National and Balkan Championship at Serres, in the CFMOTO 300 class. For Eric-Spiridon Ionescu, it marked his first race weekend, just one month after his first meters on a motorcycle.

Start jitters, an off-track excursion and podium finish

In a very short time, Eric went through an accelerated learning process, handling the challenges of a first race weekend. He set a best lap time of 1:39.7 in practice and completed both races, despite a small mistake that resulted in a run-off.

For a complete beginner, the Serres weekend represents an important step in his development, showing a solid and controlled approach in race conditions.

“I’ve just successfully completed my first experience at Serres. It was a great experience and I hope to do even better at MotoRC,” said Eric-Spiridon Ionescu.
