Bogdan Vrăjitoru

Date of birth: 30.08.1989

I was born in Bucharest and have been riding motorcycles since the age of seven. I was part of the Romanian national team between 2003 and 2019 and I am a certified motorcycle racing instructor.

World Superstock 1000 Rider / 2011–2012

I represented Romania at world level in the Superstock 1000 World Cup, a support class to WorldSBK. In 2012, I scored a FIM world championship point after finishing 15th in the race at Monza. This was a significant achievement considering that Romania’s first permanent racing circuit was only built in 2014, meaning that training infrastructure and technical know-how were extremely limited at the time.

For these results — a national first — I received the title of Best Romanian Athlete Ranked in a World Championship in 2012 from the Romanian Motorcycle Federation (FRM), as well as the Master of Sport title awarded by the Ministry of Sport. Since then, my ambition has remained focused on competing and contributing at the highest possible level.

MotoRC Superstock 1000 Champion / 2019

After my brother Mircea’s accident during the 2012 UEM Superstock 600 season, I stepped away from competition for a period of time. Following the construction of MotorPark Romania, I returned to racing in 2016, and in 2019 I became MotoRC Superstock 1000 Champion, in the first season a Romanian motorcycle racing championship was broadcast live on television.

The season included two race victories and five pole positions out of six qualifying sessions.

Licensed Rider – French Motorcycle Federation (FFM)

In order to compete in the French Superbike Championship during the 2022 and 2023 seasons as part of Team MRS, led by endurance world champion Adrien Morillas, I obtained a racing license from the French Motorcycle Federation (FFM).

To receive the license, my international results had to be officially recognized in order to obtain the Certificat d’Aptitude au Sport Motocycliste (CASM), a mandatory requirement for competitive licensing in France.

Motorcycle Racing Instructor

Motorcycle racing has always been central to my family’s life. In order to share the experience gained through international competition with the Romanian motorcycle community, I founded a training environment where I teach road racing courses to young riders within Wizard Racing, as well as to street riders who want to develop safer and more controlled motorcycle handling.

WorldSBK Commentator (2023–2025) and EWC for Eurosport

Starting in 2022, I worked as an expert commentator for MotoGP broadcasts on Prima Sport alongside Alexandru Cocu. From mid-2023, following a trial period with Arnold Cobilanschi, I became a Eurosport commentator for the World Superbike Championship and the Endurance World Championship.

"Immersion compétition Moto" – SERT (2026)

At the beginning of 2026, I took part in the "Immersion compétition Moto" training program within the SERT endurance team at Le Mans, under the coordination of Nicolas Reynier (GP-Precision, SERT Crew Chief). The program covered topics such as motorcycle geometry, suspension setup, data analysis, and internal communication within a professional racing team. This experience represented an important step in developing my technical understanding within a professional motorcycle racing structure.
